Hi, I’m Claire Watson.

In 2010 my twins Emily & Christopher came along 14 weeks early.  Their early arrival threw my life into disarray and whilst I set about giving them the 24/7 care they needed (and still need to this day), I slowly started to neglect my own health, abysmally.

Fast forward to the start of 2018, 5st heavier, diagnosed with Type II Diabetes, and suffering with anxiety, I knew I had to do something about my health if I wanted to continue caring for the twins.  Joining a local outdoor bootcamp was my first step in the right direction, coupled with concentrating on healthy eating, I managed to lose the 5st I had gained and, at the same time, discovered a passion for the sort of self-care many of us neglect when we are busy working, running homes and bringing up children.

This passion led me on to study nutrition and lifestyle coaching with the Institute of Health Sciences, and this study has given me a valuable understanding of how we can all live a long and healthy life with some positive changes.  I believe my training, along with the fact that I truly understand only too well the struggle to manage a healthy weight, get enough exercise and good quality sleep, deal with everyday stress and make nutritious meals, places me in a unique position to be able to help others to discover their healthiest most vibrant selves!

I hold a level 4 Diploma in Nutrition & Lifestyle Coaching and a Certificate in Stress Management with the Institute of Health Sciences, am a Member of the Federation of Nutritional Therapy Practitioners, and the Federation of Holistic Therapists, and am fully insured to practice.

My Approach

 

For any plan to be a success, I believe in starting with small achievable and sustainable steps which can be built on over time. Taking small steps allows you to move forward and progress steadily. Steady progress reaps lasting results!

My role is to guide you on your journey. Using my expertise and solid scientific understanding of how nutrition and lifestyle choices may impact wellness, I will fully assess and analyse your current diet and lifestyle in order to educate and provide you with the information and knowledge you need to feel empowered to be instrumental in your own wellbeing.

As an ally, I will work with you to help you clarify and understand your goals, your motivators and any barriers to change. I am here to support you and to celebrate your successes!
